A finishing school for career enhancement
India, a fastest growing economy in the world, is poised to become the world’s youngest nation by 2022.The emergence of educated youth in such a large number draws unprecedented focus towards making this talent pool employable. Innovation and Technology adopted in Industry is also transforming the way we manage business. These rapid changes lead to huge gap between academia and the Industry thereby impacting employability.
In the light of above, ‘Asharaj Foundation’, registered under the Societies Act 1860 and managed by experts drawn from Industry, Academia, Social Sector and Business leaders came into being in order to work for addressing the employability challenges being faced by the young generation. The primary objective of the foundation is to bridge the gap between academia and industry so as to provide employable work force to Corporate Sector in addition to enhancing productivity of organizations by skill up gradation of in-service employees.
Asharaj Foundation Career Institute (AFCI), the implementation arm of the foundation, has following centers of specialized training in order to fulfill the mandate of Asharaj Foundation.
While CTPI and CESD cater to graduating students, CCAT focuses on school children and pre UG students in order to help them decide their career choices, courses of studies and career training at early stages of their education.
CESD also caters to the training need for re-skilling human resources seeking second career e.g. Defence personnel retiring early from Service and personnel who wish to start their own enterprise.
CCTL caters to the training need of in service employees seeking efficiency multiplication, productivity enhancement, team building, time management, Digital detox and leadership training. Government and corporate assignments for specific training interventions to their employees are handled by CCTL.

Holistic development of a nation will depend upon successful implementation of Government initiatives (Make in India, Unnat Bharat, Digital India etc) and availability of job ready workforce. While academia is rigid about their curriculum with lesser flexibility to change, the industry is galloping with technology up gradation and innovative business processes for higher productivity and profitability. New India has a strong urge to emerge as a fastest growing economy in the world. Asharaj Foundation Career Institute (AFCI) has been visualized in this context in order to undertake the skill gap bridging in a dynamic manner for meeting the dual objectives of trained manpower to industry on one hand and enhancing the employability of graduating students on the other.
In order to achieve the larger objectives, AFCI also undertakes career awareness programmes for school children and pre UG students so that the future workforce can be groomed into passionate employees in their choice domain. Career Training programmes offered by the Institute for in-service corporate employees are designed to cause efficiency multiplication, productivity enhancement, team building, increased motivation levels, re-skilling, enhanced commitment and leadership traits.
The AFCI is mentored and promoted by a group of experienced and committed professionals, enlightened minds, drawn from the industry and academia. The team has taken up this social responsibility as an opportunity to give back to society their mantras of success and share the joy of creating a strong and prosperous nation.
I urge graduating students, school students, Corporate employees, retiring defence personnel and other passionate youth seeking a better career to make best use of the facilities provided by AFCI for enhancing their employability and entrepreneurial skills. The services of the Placement Cell of the Institute are made available free of charge to all students seeking guidance and support for a better career.
I also urge the recruiters and corporate houses to make use of the available talent pool of the Institute who will be well trained, job ready and committed to meet the job description provided by the HR managers.
I assure one and all of our best services with total commitment and best practices of the Institute.
Best wishes
